Gabe Stepanic, CFP®
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™
Gabe serves as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner with Coda Financial Group. His primary focus is assisting clients to improve their overall life plan by providing them with a 'Full Financial Experience.' Drawing on 20+ years of industry knowledge, Gabe is devoted to helping clients pursue comprehensive financial independence by incorporating investments, tax planning, risk management and estate preparation.
As a CFP® professional for more than a decade, Gabe is a fiduciary and is therefore held to the highest standard of care for clients. This means he is legally required to act in his clients’ best interest when providing financial advice. Gabe is a strong believer in the importance of creating life-long relationships with clients, and he strives to act as an invaluable partner to each individual client throughout the entire planning process.
In addition to working with clients interested in maintaining financial responsibility and wellness, Gabe is also a regular supporter of best practices in the financial services industry. He is a former director of the Financial Planning Association of Hawaii (FPA®) and a current member of the Financial Services Institute. He received his CFP® credentials from the University of Hawaii at Manoa College of Business, and completed his undergraduate studies in Public Communication at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. While there, he was an active member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon national fraternal organization.
Outside of the office, Gabe enjoys spending time with his wife Iris, son Matthew and daughter Maya. He also enjoys training at CrossFit Honolulu and watching professional football (Go Steelers!). Above all, he makes every effort to personally exemplify his values both at work and at home, and he seeks client partners who share the same strong values of kindness and integrity.
1 Peter 5:7
“Just as shepherds watch over their sheep, you must watch over everyone that God has placed in your care. Do it willingly in order to please God, and not simply because you think you must. Let it be something you want to do, instead of something you do merely to make money. Don’t be bossy to those people who are in your care, but set an example for them. Be humble in the presence of God’s mighty power, and he will honor you when the time comes. God cares for you, so turn all your worries over to him.”
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® (with plaque design) and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
